Tried for a week to get Century Link to install internet in my new house only because I had to use them where I used to live. Gave up and called NewWave and was installed that day. The installer was an absolute professional and courteous. Could have asked for better service.

I have had the service for about 3 months. It has not worked correctly since the day we have had it. I have called and called, really to no avail. I have had several guys come out and try to “fix” the issue(which they say is nonexistent) I had a scheduled appointment for a guy to come and check everything out and he no showed. Really have not been happy with the service or customer service. Sparklight or Newwave is trash service and the only reason I would imagine they are still in business is from the lack of competition.

Great experience from installation to usage. We have a middle package, and we stream movies, TV, and music with no issues. Occasionally there has been a blip in service, but it never lasts too long. Service slows when 3 or more try to stream. In two years of service, it has been down (for more than a few minutes) only two times.

About 3 1/2 years ago I canceled my service because it worked less than half the time and gaming with this service was impossible. I never returned the router or modem idk what they called it, so I got charged a fee (which of course I did that’s only right). Which I paid. Well fast forward 6 months and I got in a pinch and needed internet service ASAP so I called them and reactivated it. They came out and turned my service on I plugs in my modem everything worked. So when I went to moved I called to cancel it and they told me I couldn’t until I returned the modem. Which I already paid for. I told them I was working 7 days a week I can’t drop it off right now and I paid for it anyway. Well they refused to cancel my service and charged me to two more months of service until I returned the modem. Which I did on our first rainout but I wasn’t taking off to return it and losing more money. When I returned it they told me I owed 13 but I couldn’t pay there I would have to wait for the bill. When the bill came the hit me for a even 80. Idk how they came up with that number. When I disputed the charge they denied it twice and when I told them to look up there records they said they only went back two years. (How convenient). They turned me into the credit union so I had to pay the charge instead of getting it reported on my credit. If anyone ask me there internet service is a one star at best and there customer service is non existent. Save the heartache and find another provider. Trust me on this one.

I don’t even know where to start with this one. I’ve been waiting all morning for a tech to set up my service so I call the customer service number, only to be on hold or bounced around for over 30 minutes! Get it together guys! I bet I won’t have to hound you when it’s time to pay a bill!!!
