They deserve no stars. Look out for the automatic contract renewal clause in the contract. Yes, it's a trick and they will never contact you to tell you that they are \automatically\ renewing your contract every year no matter how many years you've been with them. As a matter of fact, they won't ever contact you unless they think you owe them money. They have been \so called\ automatically renewing my contract since 2013. They will auto renew for the rest of your life. I've been with this company for many years. The previous owner was a friend of the family and the service was outstanding. I stayed with the company after he sold it to the current owner out of loyalty. My equipment is old and outdated. When I looked into upgrading my system with them, the monthly monitoring fee was high. I decided to go with Frontpoint Security systems, who is the number one rated company on all of the consumer websites, they have the latest equipment, and a reasonable monitoring fee. When I went to cancel my service with Emergency Response, they told me I owe them 168 for the next six months because they have an automatic renewal clause in the contract. They don't contact you regarding renewal when your term is up. Buyer beware!!

We've used Emergency Response for many years now at our businesses and our homes. They have the absolute best customer service and stand behind their work. You can always get a hold of someone when you're in need of help and that is really comforting when it comes to alarm systems. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Horrible company, no business ethics! I'm going out of business, and they won't let me out of a contract that they claim someone at my company signed in 2006, which has an automatic. Renewal. However that contract was with BDL who they bought out. Now, they demand payment of 950, through June of 2018 for services that will not be rendered. No attempt to work with us, service is terrible. Just trying to scam us out of money. I recommend that you stay away.
