Our mission is to provide each paddler a personalized cultural experience that makes Austin great. We not just a rental dock, but a family of passionate outdoor people. Located on the quite and ever-growing East Side of Austin, just past the end of the Downtown Austin Boardwalk. No matter if your a newbie or a sponsored pro, our experienced and certified instructors can teach you the best tips for exploring Lady Bird Lake/Townlake. We welcome all walks of life. So bring your family out for some fun in the sun, your coworkers for some team bonding, or simply grab a friend and dog for some fishing on a kayak. It’s amazing. The woman who helped was so nice. She saw us coming and pulled on her mask. Even gave us directions to the nearest bathroom (which was a 2 minutes walk away). You can leave your stuff at the dock and it’s well protected by the woman doing the checking in and her very cute dog. In summary—this is a great paddle board/kayaking place!

Always love coming here to paddle. Very friendly staff and one of the cheaper and competitive priced location. There are some parking right in front of the place, but when it is packed, you are going to have to find parking on the side roads. Can't wait to come back again.

Great place! Laura is awesome and made everything easy, she was super helpful with recs on how to navigate the river. Seriously uncomplicated, great gear to have a wonderful workout on the water. Will be back and highly recommend!

Epic SUP is located at the best area on the river for SUP rentals. The staff are friendly , helpful, and knowledgeable. I went out on a Friday. After signing off on a liability waiver, I was treated to a nice refresher on how to use the board and paddle. The rental board was clean and well kept. I was provided a life jacket and paddle at no additional cost. The next five hours spent on the river were wonderful and relaxing. I brought a lunch that I had packed earlier in the day. After making my way up river I found a nice area with almost no current where I could stop to eat. The river, although very polluted, was showing life. Turtles, Herons, and some fresh water fish were even jumping. The ride back went by in a flash. Bring sunscreen and reapply! Slowly drifting down river gave me time to take in the Austin skyline. The return voyage was almost effortless. Definately the best part of my Austin excursion. Thank you Epic SUP for helping me have this experience!
