Great location and I needed last minute availability which may have contributed to the issues. There were chicken nuggets on the floor, we had to take care of some bugs, and the window unit in the bedroom was out of order.
Sweet and comfortable little get away!
We spent the weekend in the Starry Night room. The room was quaint and very clean. It had a cozy feel and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was small. Check-in was easy. I would definitely recommend calling before you show up as this will be your opportunity to go over details with the host. All interactions were pleasant.
My wife and I spent two nights in the Starry Night Suite (in the yellow cottage). Overall the experience was pretty positive. The room could have been a bit bigger (especially the bathroom area), but the bed was great and there was coffee available. We originally looked for rooms closer to downtown, but it's only a short walk and the lack of foot traffic turned out to be very nice. The owner was really sweet as well.
This place advised cottages, instead you get a 8x20ftroom with a full size bed not a queen size. I booked through Expedia and contracted the owner, Pam once I saw what I actually got. Pam was in no way willing to help me in any way. She told me that is what I get for booking with Expedia. She then advised me that she has a police department that will deal with my kind of people, really Pamela??this place has mold in the air conditioning unit and the floor was rotten around the toilet so it leaned. There's not a lot of parking at all. Do not stay here, Pam is obviously used to dealing with Major complaints about her slum.
Easy check in. The bathroom was a little small. Overall, it was alright. The main complaint I have was the air conditioner was noisy, but it worked really well. Great water pressure.
Charming place. Small but adequate for the two of us. Will come again.
