Helpful sales staff. For sales they have a decent amount of knowledge which helps along finding what you need. Techs are pretty good but doesnt seem like they have any specialists. Just general mechanics. Which is fine just not as efficient as a company like the one I work for could use.

I pulled out a final drive from the excavator to replace a seal. I stripped it all apart, except the hydraulic motor. All I had left was to press the bearing out, put a new seal, and press it back in. When I got to \Pape machinery\in Fife they told me it's going to cost me one hour of labor, which is fine. So, I left the final drive in the shop. The next day Ryan from \Pape machinery\called, and told me it's going to cost five hours of labor because they had to take the hydraulic motor apart, I said OK. Then, when I picked up that part I put it back on a excavator and I saw that it's leaking fluid from hydraulic motor.\Pape machinery\in Fife told me they do not have that seal and they cannot fix it. So I took the final drive to \Hydraulic installation & repair\ in Pacific and they told me that the hydraulic motor had never been touched, all bolts still have the original paint so I went back to Pape in Fife and after I told them that the hydraulic motor has never been touched, they changed their story and said that their mechanic had to make some kind of tools to press the final drive bearing out. That is a lie, even if it not a lie, they kept the tool. So, I paid for the tool, plus labor. It's a good business for them, I guess. So, long story short, \Pape machinery\ in Fife charged me 5 hours to replaces one seal. \Hydraulic installation & repair\ Disassembled hydraulic motor and final drive, replaced all the seals, tested, with warranty for 4 hours of labor.
