First time being here. It is quite a drive to get to the area you park at, not bad thing I was just expecting to get there sooner. Definitely go early in the day. We got there half an hour after they opened and got to explore the area before getting on the lift. When we went to get on the lift there was two couples in front of us. When we got back down from the lift I wanted to go and buy something from the gift shop and the line was so long of people just arriving it went all the way outside. I should have bought what I wanted while I was there to buy my tickets! When we went out to leave( catch the bus to take us back to where we parked) the line to get on the lift was so long it came down the hill and up the road! The lift is about half an hour each way. Those people in line were going to be in line for at least an hour! GO EARLY! It is well worth the trip! I would hate to wait in that line.
I just love Arizona Snowbowl they have wonderful skiing and the chalets and restaurants are well maintained. The bathrooms are clean and the staff is very friendly. The sun is amazing so on like skiing in Eastern Canada. Even though they haven't had much snow this year they have been blowing snow and all the lifts are open as of February 2018
Scenic chairlift tour. Great time....be prepared for the cold! Seems a bit overpriced but we found a deal that made it worth it. Be sure to experience it next fall, the views are amazing!
Spectacular view, cold and windy, takes about an hour. Bundle up.
