Went to pick up my Taurus G3c after work last night and had a pleasant time doing so. The sales assistant Sam was very entertaining while I waited on my background check to come back. I was basically in and out because I was able to go the website and purchase my handgun leaving the easy part to just going to pick it up after work. THANKS ACADEMY!!!!!! The service at this location was awful. Be warned! The products posted for sale at this store location is highly misleading. We ended up spending more time shopping in the store thinking merchandise were on sale when it actually wasn't. Luckily I was paying attention as the cashier was scanning. Spoke to the manager that was on duty about the situation, she was very rude and disrespectful. We do not have an academy sports where we live and I was excited to go in one, but this store was very messy and disorganized. Very bad experience!
Went looking for Steel Toe work boots. Store had a wide variety to choose from. The young man that was the sales associate was very professional and assisted each person from my team. He also had great conversation.
I order items and every time I've gone to pick them up I simply had to walk through the front doors and someone went retrieve my items for me in the store!
One stop shop for sports and outdoor. Its a pretty big store with huge collection of sports apparels, ports and outdoor goods. They do have some good discount sales going on at this store every time.
