Subsurface Exploration & Testing Subsurface exploration and testing is typically conducted to investigate underlying geologic conditions existing below the ground surface. The investigation includes the collection and interpretation of samples from the shallow and deep subsurface by various techniques such as drilling or direct-push. Structural Sinkhole Investigation A structural sinkhole investigation is a statutorily compliant investigation to determine if a building has been damaged per the current Florida Statutes (e.g. FS 627.706, with updates from SB408). Pending structural damage, this investigation will include or exclude sinkhole activity as a contributing factor to the structural damage.
