Giving it a first try on a Sunday there were only three table of customer. Worker spoke to us in Cantonese for some reason. I hear its the same owner from OK Ryan in college point. I did not used the parking but I check with the waitress space 7 to 11 are reserve for customer. I was not impressed for the dishes Ibhave ordered. For 50 lunch for two. I did bot think it was a good value. However I usually try a restaurant few time before deciding if this will be my regular place. I am looking for a restaurant with free parking where I can bring friends for gathering and can customize to my liking (off menu items) when I bring my own seafood is a plus if they charge reasonable cooking fee.
I love the Taiwanese flavor here. Definitely satisfied my Taiwanese craving after years going without it. The 3 cup Chicken was my favorite! And I had like 5 bowls of rice just to finish everything. The sweet girls working inside made my day and were eager to strike up a friendly conversation too. Love to come back again.
Just finished eating here. The food is cooked to perfection and the waitresses are very kind and friendly.
We were looking for a quick bite to eat after visiting the Queens Botanical Garden and stumbled upon OK Canaan which is conveniently located across the street. The restaurant had just opened for the day, and we were the first customers. Upon entering you immediately notice that the décor is mostly red, as in, red walls and red table cloths. There is a ramp to the left of the entrance, along with a small set of stairs leading down to the dining floor. We ordered the Taiwanese Style Lo Mein, Pork Chop Combo, Fried Chicken Leg Combo and scallion pancakes appetizer. The Lo Mein was okay. It had nice flavor, but I’ve had better elsewhere. Same with the scallion pancakes. Luckily, both the Pork Chop Combo and Chicken Combo were delightful! They both came with some pickled vegetables, steamed cabbage and boiled tea egg. The rice that came with it had minced pork on top. The chicken was cooked perfectly and had a nice crunchy skin. The pork chop was tasty and tender. I would come back just to eat these two dishes again. The waitress was super friendly and helpful. And the service was fast! We barely waited five minutes before the food was delivered to our table. Next time I’m in the neighborhood again, I’ll be sure to stop by.
The soup is really good. No MSG, tasty not salty at all
Wow, just wow. Came here for lunch the place was empty but the food, it was awesome. It seems like they do more take out than done in for lunch but everything we are was too notch and awesome. Definitely stop in here if you're in the mood for good Taiwanese food, you won't be dissapointed.
Awesome Taiwanese food! Great flavors and authentic taste. Probably my favorite Taiwanese restaurant.
