Trying to replace microwave vent hood combo. They only keep 1 cheap model in stock. The other 20 you have to order. Bought the one I wanted from Best Buy and they had it in stock. The gentleman that helped me at Home Depot was excellent!

We are huge DIYers and this is my “home” Home Depot store. I’ve never had any issues here, but on occasion it’s hard to find sales people to help in the store. Everyone is kind and helpful though. Some of what we’ve done; replaced our fence, painted the interior of our home, up-cycled and built furniture and probably a million other projects and repairs. Our current project is a trellis to get my ivy under control. It’s nice to have a well-stocked home improvement store close by.
If I wrote my compete review it would be pages long. Simply put, this store, corporate and the delivery company chose to put us at the end of the list for delivery after the winter weather here in Fort Worth, when we should have been at the beginning of the list. We were told 3 times our refrigerator would be delivered, 3 times the refrigerator was not delivered, no notification that it would not be delivered. We had to chase down why our refrigerator was not delivered. The company was unwilling to make right, even when they were told we purchased the new refrigerator from them because our refrigerator was going out. We were told it would be delivered in 3 days. a week and half later still no refrigerator, even though there were windows in the weather for it to be delivered. In fact the they cancelled the first delivery citing inclement weather. There was no inclement weather, the weather did not happen until the following day. So beware of purchasing any item that has to be delivered from Home Depot. Chances are it will not be delivered on time. If you buy here, you buy at your own risk. We solved this problem, we went and purchased a refrigerator at a major competitor, then cancelled our order with Home Depot. Home Depot has lost a long time loyal customer.
I put 3 stars because it rates average for a home depot, which is kind of infamous for its poor service, poor organization, and gouged prices. But, for what it is, it's meh. I didn't find what I was looking for, and I overpaid for a substitute item by about 10. Help was reluctant and mildly irritated to offer answers too. But considering the weather conditions, I'd say they moved the line along very well, and the place was surprisingly clean.
Great service tonight. Got help with cutting some boards and whatnot and it was like the spirit of Christmas was in the air. Pretty rare in big box these days, including this store which would usually be a 4 star (always has things in stock I need). The review request was timely from Google as it came after a great shopping experience.
