Purchased a whole chicken here and the butcher was kind enough to take out the back (butterfly cut) at no additional charge. Made a lemon garlic roast on the skillet w wine sauce, and the chicken was so juicy tender fresh. Remarkable difference from the store. Ill be a returning customer, no doubt! *also curious about their ice cream sandwiches they have in their freezers. It’s a cool shop I hope they stay in business for years to come

What a gem! And a fabulous find as we walked downtown! Fabulous organic grass fed milk (the heavy whipping cream reminds me of milk from the cow itself that I drank as a kid). It's awesome and DELICIOUS! We also bought pork also, can't wait! We will be headed this way often.
Go early or call a few days ahead and they'll cut what you want! Great service. Covid compliant shopping. If you see a line outside, that's why. Only 7 people at a time allowed in. So be cool and do your shopping quickly! Awesome local produce, milk and ice cream too!
WOW! This place is exceptional! Game birds, local beef/pork. Hard to find beer, wine and....Did I say exceptional? BTW...Friendly; Plus knowledgeable butcher on premise. Deli to dine at downstairs, too! Just wish the deli served their wagyu beef hot dogs! Best kept secret in Olde Town Fredericksburg.
Always find what I'm looking for here. The only place I go for the best meats! A staple in the community and highly recommended to anyone. I send anyone here looking for high quality meat!
