TERRIBLE place. My sister is in there - horrid food - she has lost a LOT of weight. Even the hospital has better food - there is no excuse for this - how are people suppose to get well with that slop? She's a Diabetic that they have not given her insulin in weeks. Haven't cleaned the room in weeks. I appreciate they are being careful with COVID, but when something is brought to a patient that obviously has been sprayed with Lysol and they still hold it for 48 hours! Aides are the only ones that do anything. Nurses let her develop wounds and kidney problems. PT is okay. I keep having to bring her supplies that THEY should be supplying! NOT a happy camper and want to move her, but that is difficult to do.

Nice facility but is is not in the best interest of the patients. Carefully watch the medications prescribed.

This new building is large; it's really quite remarkable. The staff - caring, attentive, genuinely concerned for the welfare of their residents and truly engage with family members. The administrative team - quite knowledgeable and friendly. A few new ones, but they came in and have accomplished so much in such a short period of time. I have had to deal with most from time to time and they have always made time for me with any issue I may have. If you have had a family member in the old building and had to transition into the new, the one thing you do notice - a majority of the nursing employees are new also. The DON, Susan, has made it her mission to hire quality, caring, dedicated staff members. They are like a ray of sunshine. The building is clean - no odors. Housekeeping is always working. Rehab - 2 different areas - quite large and that team is excellent. All managers up front - extremely friendly and welcoming. These employees, from top to bottom, show so much compassion, I would certainly recommend them to anyone who has to make a difficult decision for their loved one.

Brand new State of the Art Facility that is absolutely gorgeous! I would highly recommend this facility to anyone wanting FIVE STAR treatment for their loved ones!! The nursing staff along with the therapy staff are the BEST in town. They are all truly dedicated to providing each and every resident with a quality of care/ life that they have rightfully earned and deserve. Proud to be a part of TEAM GARLAND!

If you're looking for REHAB this is the place for you!! Our gorgeous new facility has two outstanding rehab gyms (one side for ADL's and the other for mobility) with an incredible rehab team to back it up! love working for this company and even more, I love the families and residents I get to work with. Our Administrator and Director of Nursing are constantly working with everyone to make sure our residents are getting the best quality of life! Blessed to be apart of Advanced Health and Rehab Center of Garland!!
