Travelers are in for a real treat when visiting Garrett Popcorn Shops at the DFW Airport in terminals A20 and B27. Based in Chicago, Garrett Popcorn Shops started in 1949 with one goal in mind: to handcraft the finest gourmet popcorn in the world, and boy, did they succeed. Garrett's Popcorn is undoubtedly the best popcorn ever to exist. This dish is what puts Chicago on the map, with their handcrafted, freshly prepared popcorn made throughout the day in an old fashioned Copper Kettle. Whether you're on Michigan Ave or at the DFW airport, this place is well worth the long wait you will experience. Don't let the line discourage you; it moves rather quickly. I will switch up my order by getting either the Garrett Mix, comprised of Cheese and Carmel for that sweet and salty savor, or just Cheese on it's own. They use REAL liquid pour cheese for that juicy bite. I suggest you get your popcorn in a tin vs bag, as it will last longer (1 month vs 1 day, respectively). You will end up putting a dent in your wallet. Approximately 40 for a standard sized tin, but money well spent. Thank you for creating this "pop" up store and introducing this Chicago favorite to the Dallas/Ft Worth area!

Since first experiencing Garrett Popcorn in Chicago back in 2017, anytime I find the opportunity to purchase their freshly made popcorn since it is extremely rare for me to visit Chicago, I take full advantage whenever I'm flying out of one of the two Concourses here in Dallas/Fort Worth Airport that has a Garret Popcorn Shop. Staff is always happy and ready to provide "the flavors" of your choice. I usually partake in their CaramelCrisp, Garrett Mix, Pecan CaramelCrisp, and Cashew CaramelCrisp. If you ever happen to be flying in to/out of Concourse A or B, I strongly encourage you to find the Garrett Popcorn Shop to partake in a little taste of Chicago !
