The sales staff is amazing. We had Chris and Joe working on our sale and we've been living happily in our new home for about 3 months now. The only massive problem I have is that we've contacted the maintenance department there about 5 times now and they refuse to call us or come out to the house to fix anything. We have multiple things that are messed up in our house and they just will not cooperate with us. Who knows, but 2 months of silence makes me mad. I'll bump this rating up to five stars once they fix our issues.

The salesman was so rude like I was bothering him. Maybe if I drove up in a expensive car and clothes he would have given me the time of day. Well guess what you just missed a cash sale. I will NEVER be back or recommend them

We bought a large modular home through Clayton. 3/5 because although the house turned out good. It just took them a lot longer than was originally planned due to weather. Although there were several excuses along the way. The finish grade was pretty much a joke. We had 12” deep ditches after about 2 rains. I had to spend 3,000 on an excavation company to come out and fix the drainage. We also have been waiting on a door that was damaged in construction somehow, and the other door had vinyl that they had scratched and painted over with paint that didn’t match well. The recommended finance company was awful. Would not recommend Wells Fargo to anyone. All in all, if I had it to do it again I would just let them stick with the building the house. I would find my own contractors for everything else. They can build a house nicely. Everything else was very clear they were either over their head or just didn’t care. I just edited this to 1 star because our issues still haven’t been fixed even though they read this review and responded. And while trying to fix my yard I hit our main septic line that wasn’t even buried more than just an inch or so and now I have an open septic line leaking Into our yard. They also just emailed us by accident someone else’s Loan applications and all their private info. So do yourself a favor and just don’t do business with this company.
The salesman lied about the after sale services and care. The company is unethical and will not respond to post sales issues that are clearly a manufacturing issue. This company is almost broke and could care less about their reputation. I recommend anyone looking for a manufacture home to buy elsewhere
