I’ve only been banking with the credit union for a month now but am impressed with how knowledgeable the employees are. Professional on new account opening and very friendly at the drive through and phone contact. My account is very small but they are glad that I’m a customer. I won’t be needing a new used car for another 3 or 4 years but will give Desert Financial strong consideration at that time.

Have belonged to Desert Finacial for over 20 yrs. I went thru a illness that made me unable to work. I had no income for over 2yrs. Just my savings. I was still able to pay all my bills without missing one except doctors bills. I finally started receiving income again and needed a new car, can you believe they would not give me one because of a \ low\ credit score, had to go thru another credit union. This place doesn't know the word \ loyalty \ , just how much money you have in your account....did I mention that I own my house...no mortgage !!!!

Has become more and more like a bank over the years- indistingishable to me now. In process of moving on to another CU that has shown us EXPONENTIALLY more care and value in 2 months than Desert has in 23 years. I was suspicious of the name change- perhaps there's more to it. Has gone to a completely for-profit model it appears, so that care they were once known for is gone. Employees are still a joy to deal with, but the institution and it's \support\ has soured me for the last time. My entire financial portfolio is now with another. It's just too bad.
