Campsite was perfect, we could see the river! Bathrooms were clean. Showers weren’t very private on lower bathroom but we made it work. Loved Rafting with Defiance Rafting on site! Anna was so fun and knowledgeable! Took bike path into town! Over all we really loved it here and definitely want to come back!

We loved our trip here. One of the most scenic places ever! Easy to park our R.V. Peaceful. A restaurant and bar just a few steps away if you just want to relax and not cook after being on the road all day. We met the sweetest bartender Hailey. She had outstanding recommendations and provided excellent service. The food and drinks were delicious. A yummy continental breakfast offered as well. At the front office, Kevin, was so kind to us and recommended a gorgeous scenic route to us for the continuation of our travels (thank you). He treated us like family. Felt very welcomed here and didn’t want to leave. Thank you for such a memorable stay and beyond! We will definitely be coming back this way when we leave Alaska.

Do yourself and your wallet a favor and keep driving the extra few minutes to town and get a hotel since a tent camping spot cost the same as a hotel room. Arrived "after hours" no prices were posted just a sign that says to take any open spot and visit the office in the morning to pay. Well next morning was a rude surprise and now I know why the don't post pricing. The tent spots are packed so tight you could literally touch your neighbors. The "right on the Colorado River" description leaves out it's also right on the railroad tracks with trains running all night. All of the bathroom facilities are locked and keypad coded so we couldn't even use the bathrooms because no one was around to provide the code. I've camped at better sites in the middle of nowhere for a sixth the price.

Really nice campground with some amenities. We had a site right on the Colorado River. Being on the river was great, although the river sites do not have sewer hookup and are also not very wide. Site was fine for a couple of nights. Lots of stuff to do in the area
