Yummy goodies from Nantucket Baking Co made the perfect start to a short week. ⁣ ⁣ Located on Lyon Street, Nantucket is a popular stop in Grand Rapids for both locals and those out of town who make the trip for fresh baked pastries. The quality of their handmade bread and baked goods are simply phenomenal. It always smells so amazing when we visit. ⁣

Fantastic baked goods!! Fabulous staff! I was so impressed by the quality of customer service that I observed while visiting the bakery on the day before Thanksgiving. The place was super busy, which isn’t surprising considering Nantucket has such delicious things. The staff went out of their way to make sure customers received their items and that everyone was safe, I have appreciated Nantucket’s attention to detail during this challenging time. Thank you for always going above and beyond! I highly recommend visiting Nantucket Bakery!
Great bread selections and their macrons are awesome. Additionally, they do a great job with COVID-19 restrictions. It's nice to shop where both the customers and staff take this situation seriously.
I was so excited to stop here after having surgery on December 14th. We wanted to get some local gifts for our friends and families. We purchased 2 loaves of bread, 4 pies, 2 croissants and 2 cookies. I couldn’t have been more excited. We delivered each pie when we returned home. I was so embarrassed to have a slice with one of the recipients and learn of the bizarre consistency of a blueberry pie; similar to a fig Newton. The pecan pie would pull away from the top layer and stay intact to the next piece but the underneath ingredients would pull away normally. The Cherry pie was similar to the fig Newton. I tried to contact the bakery directly and they never returned my phone call or email inquiry. I thought perhaps we got a bad batch or maybe some that should have been pulled and pitched. None of the boxes had the baked on date imprinted; they were all blank. I have no complaint about the bread or cookies. The pies were the worst we have ever had anywhere, including very inexpensive frozen pies. These were downright disgusting. They were not the least bit appetizing and we didn’t even bother with the Apple pie because when cut it was dry and flat just like the rest. I don’t know if management is aware this happened to us or even cares but it was basically trash. Next time we will try Traverse Bay pie company and be done with it. Clearly you don’t care about customer satisfaction. Your pies suck!
Hands down the best bakery in west Michigan you can never go wrong with anything! They have a wide variety of baked goods and their breads are always amazing! I’ve been going for years and have never been disappointed!
