Took me a bit to find out about John but I was bound and determined to send my motor to the best person I could send it to he did a awesome job building my 2019 polaris rzr turbo motor. Upgraded everything I could internally while in hos hands and runs perfectly, about a week in lto breaking it in and already running way better them the polaris engine. Need a polaris built definitely give them a call great people always there to answer questions and help you out

I purchased the remanufacturing of a motor for a 2009 Polaris Ranger 700 from Ground Thumpin Motors on 8/13/20. When the motor arrived, the water pump inlet was broken. I was told they would send a replacement out that never appeared. Once the motor was installed, I was able to start it once and then it would do nothing but grind in the bendix area of the starter. I removed the side cover to find a bushing missing that aligns the bendix. Once again I was told that they would ship out the repair part and cover gasket as the one they had installed was pinched and put in place with sealer. Again, no parts were shipped out. Machine was delivered to my customer after that. A month after the owner had the machine back, it lost all power and died. It had 129 miles on it since being picked up. When the customer was able to bring the machine back to me so I was able to diagnose the machine in hopes that it was something simple, I found as follows: 1. Compression ratio of 125 psi vs the 180 the manual states as normal 2. The PTO side exhaust valve was not opening at all 3. The camshaft lobe on that exhaust valve was completely rounded off 4. The pistons and cylinder were deeply scored and unusable 5. The motor was claimed to have been rebuilt with quality parts and if they weren't OEM they were to meet or exceed OEM standards which was not the case. The cylinder and piston set were of the cheapest available Chinese knock off reproduction parts which are easily identified by the piston itself and its components.

I have waited to provide my review after placing roughy 100hrs on my Polaris Ranger 1000, rebuilt by GTM. Happy to say the process from shipping of the blown engine to receipt of the rebuilt was excellent. Great "personable" customer service and quality work. I highly recommend sending your ranger motor to GTM. They are also the best priced and offer a warranty!

I own pigeon forge utv rentals. Being a 5 star company one thing I know is it all starts with customer service. I called this company this morning and spoke with john about rebuilds for our machines. Absolute 5 star customer service. He wasnt short with me on the phone when I had multiple questions. Explanied everything, the process from ordering to warranty. I learned years ago adsentee ownership doesnt work this say and age. If he dont own the company, he should. If not the owner should know what an asset he brings to them. John youve earned all my business. As for the one review thats not 5 star because of shipping. Disregard it. These are almost 10k engines from the factory. In glad this company doesnt rush a rebuild and takes there time and does it right. 5 stars ***** all the way.
