The folks at Jay West recommended A Perfect Fit when their alterations book was full and I needed a fast adjustment. We're talking 10-days before the wedding fast. I was honestly unsure that my dress could be altered in the way I needed, but when I picked it up 4 days after dropping it off, I couldn't believe it! I don't know how Valentina did it, but I couldn't tell anything at all had been done to my dress visually, but it fit like an absolute glove. She was so kind, accommodating, and talented, and helped to take a huge stressor off my shoulders. Thank you, A Perfect Fit!!!

UPDATE: After the promise of a refund for services rendered, it has still not been received. UPDATE: She offered to drive and try to re-clean the dress, even after the professional cleaner attempted to. She clearly wanted to fix the situation and was also open to possibly re-paneling the damaged material. I decided to keep it as is, as I didn't believe it would get any better than the professional cleaners attempt. She refunded the money paid for the alterations. To be clear, I was happy with the alterations, just not the damage she created on the dress. Very disappointed with my experience with A Perfect Fit. She had tailored by silk white Alexandra Grecco wedding gown, and when I picked it up, she had gotten a pinprick of a blood stain on the back of the dress. My mom saw this in the fitting, and she said she would clean it right away. We picked it up that evening, and it looked fine. Flash forward to 2 weeks before my wedding, I open the dress bag and see that where she had cleaned this stained was yellowed. We called her and she said she put baking soda on it, and tried to say that it might have been a bug on the dress. I had a professional cleaner work on it, and even he couldn't get it out. I am so upset and will be pursuing legal action. A few hundred dollar tailoring job ruining a few thousand dollar dress.... Do not trust her with your expensive, memorable items.
I went to Valentina with my wedding dress that was ordered incorrectly and was very big. She was able to shrink it down without ruining the beauty of the dress. The hem was also going to be tricky because of the detail and Valentina did not disappoint! She has an extremely great eye and pays attention to every single detail.
Had a very good experience at this shop. Quality of work was of highest standards.
