Everything we wanted and more! We just returned from 2 weeks at Alligator Point with the whole family(s) from ages 6 mo. to 79, including 2 teenagers who had a blast and they rarely picked up their phones. With the smell of fresh brewed coffee and beacon cooking, it's sooo nice to relax in a home over looking the water in the morning. Pic below - Homemade Banana, Almond Pancakes!!! Then the days activities would include: fishing from the dock, walks and relaxing on the beach, surf fishing, reading, napping, just hanging out on the downstairs covered area... we even finished 2 jigsaw puzzles that we kept out on a table. Pic: Went offshore and caught Mangrove Snapper. Our only concern was what to have for dinner! We ate really good. My Way fish market had fresh gulf shrimp and fish. The Winn Dixie in Crawfordville was very clean and was well stocked with fresh veges, meats,.... and ice cream. For some reason the ice cream there tasted really good. The kitchen was large and well equipped. The area is so peaceful, you see people but not many. The people you do see are also happy to be there. We live on Florida's east coast, so we enjoyed watching sunsets on the water. And at night the stars were so bright, it was easy to see the North Star and pick out other constellations. We stayed at a house called \Fresh Catch\, great layout, spacious, clean, well maintained, great views of the bay, with a dock for fishing and private beach access. WIFI, so I was able to check work emails every 2 to 4 days or so. We watched some movies, the kids had never seen \Ground Hog Day\ or \1962 Swiss Family Robinson\, they loved them. Harbor Point rentals was so easy to work with, we handled rental stuff by email. We even ended up extending our trip for another week with no issues. We're amazed how you can rent a waterfront home for so little. Truly, everything was better than expected and we're working on dates to get back soon. Always a good experience dealing with Amber and Greg. Have been coming to Alligator Point for a few years and it is our ‘go to’ beach with very nice house rentals for total relaxation.
We visit Alligator Point every year and have had a wonderful time / experience with Harbor Point Realty. Super nice to deal! We will be coming back!
