I recently was there to open a student checking account for my daughter as I had done the previous two years for my sons. The person assisting me was not very knowledgeable. The first time I went, she said I needed her birth certificate which was something new as I didn't need it for my boys. When I returned, I was told that I couldn't open a student account only an express account for her which I knew was wrong. She wouldn't budge even after I suggested she ask someone else to make sure. So I ended up opening the express account. I gone 15 minutes before I received a call from her stating that I could have indeed opened a student account. She apologized and asked if I wanted to change over to the student account. I said no. There was no way I was going to deal with her anymore. I have been with this credit union for over 30 years. I am seriously thinking about moving somewhere else. The quality of service has severely diminished from the tellers on up!

I just got off the phone with Sandra Robinson, a loan officer with Century First. Rude is the nicest way to describe my experience with her. I am a car dealership finance manager in North Carolina. We are selling the car for 3000 BELOW retail. Every dealership I have ever worked for has a doc fee as part of the final fees. This fee is charged on every sale, new and used. She was under the impression that we were ripping off the customer in question. For someone to want to come all the way to NC to but a Dodge Charger may say something about the local car dealerships that may be charging MORE for the car and less in fees. After I explained that this is the norm in NC, she said she wouldn't help the customer and then said \ I am hanging up on you now\. The management should really do better at putting people in a position that has to do face to face business with working people. RUDE. Yes, I will leave it at that.

They were a good bank when they were Southern Miss Federal Credit Union. Ever since they’ve changed to Century first i have had the most problems wirt this bank. I can’t tell you how many times the atm is broken, they don’t have 24/7 telephone lines to get help with your account, the bank is always messing up transactions. I can’t tell you how many times I haven’t even been able to use my debit card at stores or their atm. This bank has just been going down hill.

By telephone Ms. Tabitha was very nice and helpful. Inside the agency Katie Bates was not friendly, she shoved the slip to me and assumed I knew how the process worked .
