We rented the carolina cottage through VRBO . This cottage was amazing it surpassed all of our expectations. It was spotless, well furnished and comfortable. The porch faces the beautiful lake and you can watch the sunset each evening as it sets over the foothills . There are other cottages nearby, but the beautiful trees screen you in and you still have that feeling of privacy . The surrounding area was rural enough to feel country but there are nearby conveniences like a supermarket. The town is TINY but beautiful we went in October so be prepared for shortened business hours . If you want to get away this is a great place to go. The leasing agent is very responsive and very nice. We had a great stay and this is one of the best experiences we have had and we travel a lot.

Very well- kept cottage, with a beautiful view of the Mountain from the front porch, and an over all relaxing, great place to stay!

We staying here for one month...& hate to leave. This was a wonderful stay. The scenery & lake view from our cabin is breathtaking. The owner of these cabins should get applauded for well kept rental cabins. We will be back next year. Thanks again ..for sharing the beautiful scenery

Pleasantly surprised! My wife booked one of the one bedroom cottages for the weekend (which I thought was going to be too small... ps. it's not) and this place is great! We normally stay at Deer Field around the corner but with a fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, the ever important wifi and did I mention the views? This is our new spot. Clean, quiet and we'll maintained.....can't wait to come back and stay the two story with my kids.
