The owner was super knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely use them again and I plan to in the future. It is hard to find customer service like this anymore.

I have bought a vacuum from this gentleman before. When I needed a new one because my oreck died. I thought I would go to Mill Valley first. I am so glad I did. I love my Riccar vacuum. It is powerful, light and easy to maneuver. This gentleman will direct you to exactly what you need, he will never ever over sell and threw in extra bags. I had to write! Thank you for your quality and knowledge. PS I love my Eureka Mighty Mite too. Which got me to come back. Again Thank!!!!

Our previous vacuum was a 1970s Hoover Elite Convertible upright from Kmart and it worked well for about 30 years. Trust me, they don't sell vacuums like that in big box stores anymore. The dual beater bar Hoover that replaced it was simply awful. I had relied on a familiar brand name and didn't ask someone who knew vacuums. Essentially, cheap vacuum cleaners are designed by shareholders who expect more dividends. They are sold to hapless consumers who grew up in a world of buying things from a shelf, not a professional. I once sold Hoover, Eureka, Bissell, Regina, and major appliances for a living, so I know salesmanship from hustling. The man at Mill Valley has always been extremely generous with his time and I have learned a lot just from listening to him sell vacuums to others. He does his best to send you home with a machine that fits your needs. He also did a great job of tuning up our beloved Singer 6268 sewing machine.
