23 Aloha Tower Dr

It’s a pier. We unloaded from the lower deck right onto the pier. Then walked through, I guess, a warehouse. Finally entered an area more conducive to travellers passing through a cruise terminal. Upon returning to the ship, the tide rose and made it a climb from the deck into the ship. There was some kind of confusion passing through security as the lines were hung up for about 15”. Interesting scenes of Honolulu from the ship at the pier including the Aloha Tower.

This place is a poor place to start a cruise because it's not set up to handle large numbers of people. HAL was set up properly (with multiple agents), but one security gate for 500 embarking passengers as well as for returning guests and crew made for an almost intolerable start to what is supposed to be a vacation. It should be a great place because of its location but alas, it's not.
We were forced to wait 25 minutes for a delayed excursion. There are no benches, making the wait very uncomfortable for several people with mobility limits. Finally, about 5 minutes before departure, staff brought a few folding chairs. On one young lady with security provided any help.
One of the easiest cruise ports to navigate. Friendly a d efficient agents.
Large terminal, disembarkation was easy. They also have a designated Uber area
I like Pier 2C better
If this was Maui, my companion fell, exiting the terminal to explore Maui Mall. Paramedics was called, the exit slops down, at front and sides, she stepped to the side, not expecting downward slope, and took a hard fall, bruising both knees, right hand and wrist, also fell onto right breast .
We saw a really old sailing ship, it was magnificent
