Read the mixed review, so decided to give it a try and make my own verdict. Visited on a Thurs noon. Place is clean, dining chairs all pushed aside. Service is friendly and fast. I ordered the Pork Katsu (9.55) - the standard dish that determines quality. Sadly, it looks nicer than it tastes. Curry is unusually salty and thick (I get the Kanazawa-style long curry making process, but it should still contains flavour of the curry, ingredients, and spices). The pork is on the tough end. The frying needs improvement, should be crispy and crunchy. The cabbage was watery (should spin out the water before serving). Also wish they provide proper napkin, rather than the bathroom hand paper towel. I hope this feedback could help the owners make modification.

Stopped by for lunch for the first time. 5 bucks for the chicken curry. It was okay nothing g too special. The curry was good but the flavor was bland. The chicken was a bit thick when biting.

Gorilla Go Go Curry is a Japanese curry place that offers all kinds of meats and multiple curry options. There is something for vegetarians and also halal eaters who can get the fish with vegetable curry. The food is great! Please like this review and follow me for more honest and unbiased reviews.

Very disappointed. Went to order the Grand Champion and asked for the curry on the side. We noticed that the curry was missing when we got home . And since we do not live close, we just had to make do with our own little concoction. The pork and chicken were still nice and crispy, but as some have mentioned, very thin. Can't comment on the curry because there was none... Not worth the price, IMO.

Not a bad spot for a quick bite. Food is readied quickly and the prices are about common. The food isn’t bad and the menu offerings are fairly minimal. However, the food lacks anything special or overly tasty. With so many good food options in the area, I doubt I’ll be back too often. 3.5.

This place is small, but has a great atmosphere. I really did like the decor, but the curry was just "alright" in terms of flavor. It seems like it's made from a concentrate and they've just added water. The pork cutlet was thin and a little dry. Overall, it's okay. I feel like if they changed a few things, they could be great. Also, a thicker cut of meat and timed cook would prevent a dry product. I may stop by in the future to see if anything has changed. (Edit: Returned and had the same meal and the curry tasted better this time around. Increasing the review to 4 stars)

Good experience but service was a bit lacking no water in the dispensers. Also price wise it seems a bit high for what it is. Rice to curry ratio is good.

The curry and the katsu are pretty good. The portion sizes are good for the price. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. The venue is bright and casual. The water cups are oddly tiny and kind of annoying. The World Champion Curry is a giant plate that can feed a family of four. As with all the other shops and restaurants in this plaza, the parking is always a challenge.
