We rented a condo from Vacasa through Airbnb for Thanksgiving on Pensacola Beach so we could see one of our sons in the NAVY. The day before we were to leave they said we could not stay in that condo because the oven just broke. Instead of sending someone to fix it we were expected to settle for another condo not even in the same county. Just a condo somewhere in Northwest Florida was a sufficient remedy from this company. We are supposed to go tomorrow and now everything is messed up because of this company. Military families especially beware if you are trying to visit a loved one near a base. I will never use these people again. Also, I see where they have horrible reviews on Facebook. I saw where they did this to other people. They wait till the last minute to tell you there is a problem and it is too late to go with another company. What a sleazy way to do business.

We booked a room and wanted to extend a night, but couldn’t reach anyone. We tried to cancel and rebook, since we could get 100% refund within 24 hours, but no one answered for 3 days. Tried to get a hold of anyone at any branch of this organization, and we were on hold for over 5 hours on three different calls. Sent multiple messages and emails, and still no feedback. It’s amazing how the booking is instant, but the communication is non-existent. Terrible. Should’ve stayed at a Holiday Inn

I have tried to get I contact with this company to cancel my reservation for 3 days now. When I call, (which I have 5 times now), I am on hold for 1.5 to 2 hours, and then the call will just end. The call doesn’t drop...they just hang up before saying anything. I have emailed them twice and have yet to get a response. I want my money back, and it is ridiculous for a company to be this hard to get in touch with. I will never do business with this company again, and I advise everyone else to do the same.

We were booked at Shore Beats Work in Galveston. Less than 24 hours before our family of 9 was to check in, the cancelled us. We were already here in a nearby home and had driven by. They sited an unsafe leak in the roof. However the same cars that had been there for 2 days.. people playing volleyball and all ... are still there today!! The day of our check in!! They left a family of 9 with nowhere to stay! I will never use Vacasa again! I appreciate the swift help of Airbnb to get us “rehomed” in Port Aransas. The Vacasa rep just said sorry I can’t help you, I emailed other options. (Which were all unavailable) Needless to say , I’m ticked!

STAY. AWAY. FROM. THESE. SHARKS! It is baffling to me that these people would rather expose their future guests to risks with increasing concerns in COVID-19, rather than refund our money completely. They may have made a profit from us today, but I trust that no other people will be subjected to these unreasonable cancelation policies amidst a global pandemic. This is a fluid issue and these types of cancelations are to be expected. If as a business owner they are unable to adjust their policies to reflect these challenging times, then they are NOT fit for business. Clearly, they read requests through Airbnb refund requests, and choose to ignore them, but you ask for money back through Airbnb's request for money, this one they actually read. Pathetic! STAY. AWAY. FROM. THESE. SHARKS.

This company sucks. Do not book their property on any website. No one answers the phones or emails. They are keeping peoples money and not providing the service. DO not book any thing that has to do with Vacasa! Terrible customer service all around.

Summer

The majority of the blinds were missing! No privacy from on lookers across the building! No shade protection from the sun! I paid a hefty amount of money and it was not worth my safety. Roaches crawling around the bathroom sink and floor. The freezer was DISGUSTING and the coffee grinder had old coffee grounds sitting inside of it. Such a let down!
