Yemeni Mandi and Saudi Kabsa for the win. These are very traditional Middle Eastern dishes. You can order the lamb or the chicken version of each dish. There are several kinds of rice as well. Be sure to try all kinds of rice as each one has a different flavor profile. Ask for the lentil soup as a side. That is the best side to have along with these dishes. In addition, they have lamb shawarma, chicken shawarma, and beef shawarma. The garlic sauce they use with the shawarma will transport you to the small eateries in the Middle East immediately just like the scene in Ratatouille. On top of that, there is free flowing Arabic tea which completes the entire meal. Mabruk to the owner and the staff that prepare and serve the food. This is a place that shows the diversity of the people and cuisine of Houston.
Lovely food. Got the lamb mandi and will definitely going to order it next time. The prices are affordable as well. This Mandi is Iraqi just FYI . Enjoy the review and definitely meal later
RIP OFF...I am not surprised, to see similar post below. They over charging on the menu price...they do not add up. This is my second time at this place,whenever I get more than few items they overcharge. I will report them this time for sure. The worst part is food wasn't worth it...I could have cared less about my money. Shame
