I originally purchased a ‘small area’ 6-session Groupon for Laser Away. I thought that the area I was going to have treated would be considered a ‘medium area’, but the receptionist assured me that the small area would cover it. I spoke to her about this a lot because I truly thought it would be a ‘medium size’ area, but she insisted. After I registered, I called to make my first appointment and was told that I would have to purchase the difference between the cost of a ‘small area’ and a ‘medium area’ because a small area WOULD NOT cover the area I wanted to have treated. After 2 sessions, I was then told that the ‘medium area’ package was actually only 3 sessions, not the full 6 that I originally purchased. I would not recommend Laser Away as they constantly try to up-sell you, and they do not honor your previous conversations even though they can identify who you spoke with initially. I would instead recommend purchasing something to use personally at home like a Kenzzi handset. Laser Away is not honest and upfront, and they barely even scratch the surface when it comes to the actual treatments they do. I have had laser hair removal treatments at a different facility/company, and they spent FAR more time and effort in doing the actual treatments.

Clean and cool (which is nice these days). They asked me to come later than my scheduled appointment time. The front office staff was pleasant and cordial. The technician was warm and seemed to be really concerned that she might hurt me... lol. Didn’t notice too much of a difference in the tattoo fade in the treated area. We shall see how it goes!

I have to say my entire experience with Laser Away was great, from the over the phone consultation with Ana Vicente, to the virtual consult with Naina Venkatesh, to the front desk beauties that made me feel so special, to the angel Casey who did my procedures. This was my 1st experience with botox and rejuvederm, I was a nervous wreck. Everyone involved comforted my nerves. Now about the results: I couldn't be more pleased. At 67 years old I'll have to say this took years off of my looks. My boyfriend ( who will NEVER be the wiser), took me out to dinner for outdoor dining in Long Beach, could not stop complimenting me. I will recommend this place to all my friends.

Always welcoming, informative and nurses make you feel comfortable. Service is great and quick. They are taking extra precautions with COVID. They take temp before you come in, and barely anyone in the building during apptmnt except receptionist and nurse.
