My family has owned Husqvarna Viking sewing machines since 2011. First my sister and I bought a Viking Designer 1, I never got to use it she liked it so much. In 2015, I got the Viking Topaz 50 for sewing and embroidery. The service, support and training were superior leading me to add the Huskylock S25 Serger and the Viking Tribute sewing machine to my arsenal. In 2018, my birthday present was the Viking Designer Epic and I am still on Cloud 9! What an incredible sewing/embroidery machine. The onboard computer (think very powerful stationary iPad) gives you everything you need to use all of the countless features of the Epic, and includes the operating manual as well as sewing project instructions.

Very good company. Parts ARE AVAILABLE, training and customer service is top-notch and their Viking line is second to none and that is coming from one who services them and works with the company on a daily basis. Whoever wrote the other review titled "A Google User" is apparently either a dealer of a competitor's brand and wants to scare customers into buying their product or just happened to have a bad experience with a dealer. Parts atr usually available at your local dealer or can be delivered in most cases in less than a week. Yes you have to upgrade software from time to time if you want the latest and greatest but the software that came with your machine will still work too. (What software developer out there doesn't come out with newer versions of their products?) "A Google User"...a few people complain about the machine but won't come in for a free lesson to learn how to use it. Compared to any other makes out there you won't find a machine that is easier to use that will out perform a Viking!
