I recently had to make the difficult decision to let my little dog Buddha go. He had been my constant companion for 14 years. It was one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make, but I can’t say enough about the staff at Independence Animal Hospital and the way they supported me during this difficult time. Everyone from the veterinarian, the vet tech, and the front desk staff treated me and Buddha with such compassion and kindness. Thank you for making his passing just a little bit easier.

We have been going to the Independence Animal Clinic for several years now and can honestly say they are some of the best veterinarians we have ever worked with- they are knowledgeable and compassionate. They do thorough examinations and take the time to educate and inform owners on their pet’s condition and what options are available if treatment is needed. The clinic is supplied with great technology that makes diagnosing quick and the veterinarians working there provide a thorough explanation and fair expectations of what can be achieved with treatment. Recently, we had to take our fluffy cat, Mr. Bruce, in because he had a sudden decrease in his appetite- the clinic worked to get us in quickly and at a time that my cat would be able to have a dental if his teeth were causing issues. After an examination and a few laboratory tests Dr. Bolton informed me that it was not teeth that were the culprit, an infection was most likely. She sent us home with some medications and instruction. Within a couple days Mr. Bruce was back to his normal food appreciating self- ready for breakfast and dinner and any snacks in between. A few weeks after the visit, the clinic followed up on Mr. Bruce and how he was doing to make sure that everything was still going well- we were happy to report how improved and happy he was. This is just one of the many examples of excellent service my family and I have received over the years from the Independence Animal Hospital. Independence and the surrounding communities are very blessed to have such a wonderful group serving the families and pets in this community.

Dr Bolton and staff are excellent! They are truly devoted and passionate about the care they give. They are considerate and understand that pets are family members. The facility is always clean. They are taking extra precautions due to Covid-19 keeping pets and customers safe. For emergency services on off hours it was humbling to experience the care factor, kindness, and compassion. They always follow up to make sure the plan of care is going accordingly. Thank you Dr Bolton and staff for all you do!

This hospital and the staff are excellent. The Doctor is very kind and caring. They try to do everything they can to help your family. Today was not a great visit for us because our family member of 15 years named Cookie had to move on to the next thing, we will miss her dearly but they were so kind to us and her before and after. Thank you for taking care of cookie as best you could. Will always come here for my pets.
