This is by far the best music school I’ve ever been to. I have an older daughter who also played piano and I searched all of LA, Glendale, Pasadena, everywhere. I landed on this school and both my daughters go there. They have piano guitar violin clarinet etc, all instruments. They also have chess classes, language Arminian classes and more. Professional and helpful teachers and owners who treat you like family. My daughter is already on level 9 for certificate or merit and has grown so much because of International school of Music in Glendale.

I have been coming for piano lessons since I was 5 years old (1988). I went for 17 years religiously every Tuesday and Thursday. All my teachers and the staff are now family to me and have been amazing from day 1. In the past decade because of school and work, I went on and off but now that my son is 6 years old I have enrolled him so that he can learn and become part of this amazing family. The staff is always friendly, and they are like angels when it comes to helping out. Money is the last thing that should be on your mind if you are thinking of joining. Lessons which I find to be very affordable and the flexibility of payment to be even less burdensome. This is a great value for someone who wants to take some lessons, or enroll their children for lessons, they have teachers who love to work with children and it shows. Very warm and welcoming environment for the family. Oh and one of the more important things for me was the ease of parking and safety and security of the facility. (This is one locked down facility)
My son has been coming to International School of Music (ISM) for over 15 years. I have known the owner and my son’s instructor both on a professional and personal level since my son started his studies here. I know that ISM has gone to great lengths to ensure that both the students and instructors receive all the best resources that are needed for an excellent musical education. Over the years, I have befriended some of the other musical instructors at ISM, and they are all extremely qualified, not only in terms of teaching music, but also preparing students for recitals and performances. If you would like your child to receive an extensive musical education based on the European Conservatory methods, I would highly recommend ISM. Your child will not only learn the fundamentals of his or her instrument, but will also be prepared to apply those skills on the stage. ISM organizes yearly concerts at some of the most respected venues in Glendale. This year the event was held at the Brand Library recital hall. Everyone is welcome to attend and the parents who do can witness the progress their child has made that year; these concerts not only allow students to be more confident musicians, but also allow parents to see the culmination of their child’s hard work for that year. The instructors always attend these events to provide support and encouragement for their students. I can confidently say that the International School of Music is the best music school in Glendale and I recommend ISM highly.
My daughters have been attending the International School of Music for over 5 years now. The teachers are superb and the progress I see in my daughters is testament to that. I value the training and work ethic that they receive at the school. The instructors are all highly educated and accomplished musicians. Moreover my daughters and I always feel welcomed when we walk through the doors. The owner is also someone I consider very professional and friendly and with whom I can always discuss my thoughts frankly. I can not recommend the International School and of Music enough.
