I go to this restaurant often and have always had a good experience here. They just started a serving a limited time dish, curry ramen, and it is very good. I got the soft shell crab version, but you can choose to get tonkatsu instead. Sadly, they will be closing down this month (06/26/18) due to issues getting their contract renewed. They are asking customers to send feedback to the parent company (curry house usa) to convince them to renew their contract.
This is one of my favorite curry places. I really like the puree style of curry. This place offers large portions for an affordable price. I actually fell in love with a location at Rowland Heights for this same exact chain and went there weekly. Once I found one near me, I couldn't wait to binge here. The interior is average, but the service and food are excellent.
Oh boy you cannot... Wait no NEVER go wrong with this place! Service is great, the employees are kind and patient. And the best part the food!!!! VERY VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
This place is tasty and is an Irvine mainstay. I think this establishment has been here at least 10 years. They are sensitive to single people and not wanting to be seated around loud, young children. That's definitely a plus. The food is also pretty good and consistent.
One of my coworkers loves curry, so we came here for office lunch. I've been to this Curry House once before, and I have gone to other branches of the Curry House location as well. Quality is consistent, nothing really to complain about. Katsu pork curry is always a favorite. Just a note is that their spicy isn't really all that spicy, so if you love spicy curry, would definitely ask for hot and then add a spicy sauce that they have on the table to really get that flavor. Great for if you have a curry craving, but not much else.
Food is typically good. Seasonal menu as well. A bit sad that they don't serve the seafood gratin anymore, though. For dessert, I recommend the sweet potato cake with red bean ice cream. For a drink, I recommend the coffee jelly milk.
I've been coming here for a few years now - the quality of the food and service has remain the same. I love the katsu curry and it comes with salad/soup for dinner. The price is very reasonable because the portions are quite big.
