I've only been here twice, but both times the food was wonderful. Junkyard Dog starts you off with a wonderfully textured bread while you wait for your entree. I went with the pulled pork this time and was impressed. Everything is reasonably priced as well. The service was expedient and the server was friendly. I will be back (hopefully soon) to enjoy another delicious meal.

Fantastic lunch specials at great prices. I had the pork chops & they were delicious! My husband said the side of mac & cheese was well worth the additional 1. I highly recommend this place.
A hidden gem in the midst of this small town. I got the Ragin' Cajun, cooked rare and it was perfect. The mashed potatoes and gravy were phenomenal, as were the onion rings. The bread beforehand is fantastic. Their prices are a little steep, but for the high quality food you're getting, it's worth it. Our server Nichole was fun and friendly, and really made the whole experience.
Delicious food at this little homey Cafe. The lunch specials included a chicken fried steak and grilled chicken tenders. The appetizer of an onion ring basket did not disappoint. Flavorful rings, lightly fried did not leave them sopped in grease. The restaurant itself had a pleasant steak house smell, unlike a greasy spoon. Ample food on both plates, and friendly, attentive service would have us back here in a jiffy whenever we are in the Hohenwald area.
Heard lots of good things about this prior to my visit. Sorry but not worth the 40 min drive. It was good but not worth the drive.
