I had to get my gallbladder removed, and the nurses and the staff did great! They did a wonderful job ob me, i felt comfortable and they were very professional, it was really clean in there. Dr. Campbell was awesome,!!

Our whole experience with Parkwest was great. The nurses were wonderful and the doctor had a great bedside manner. The down side came when we got home and tried to fill the prescription. The pharmacy would not fill it because there was no dose on the prescription. Since it was a narcotic the prescription could be called in. My husband was going to go back to Parkwest, which is about an 1 hour from our house, to pick up the prescription. But we could not get in touch with anyone after hours. I did contact a call center that informed me that they could not get in touch with our doctor or any doctor and that I would have to take my son to the ER to get his medicine. I explained to them that we were instructed to give the meds to keep him from getting to that part. Still said that was my only option. So if my son's pain elevates I will have to travel back an hour away and go to the ER. And of course I will have to pay for this visit even though the fault was not mine. My suggestion would be to make the hospital more accessible after hours for out patient surgery patients.
