The rooms seem very well made and neat but a little old looking. The bathtub has some bugs in it not that big of a deal but kind of gross. As we walked into the room it smelt a bit like cigarettes i believe that’s why the windows were left open. It’s over all been good!

The cottage was ok, but we didn't like that there was no personal interaction with the host. It all went over the phone. We actually wanted to stay another night, but no one reacted. So we moved on.
I should have read reviews and previewed the cabin. The inn keeper, I forgot his name, was very helpful he got us a space heater at 9pm because the place just wasn’t warming up with the AC/Heater mounted in the wall. Neat little property. I can sleep on a dirt floor for the right price but this was overpriced in my opinion considering I saw few cars indicating low occupancy. The owner, nice guy, said he was sold out for Columbus Day weekend when I asked for a small partial reimbursement. I get it I’m in the hospitality/real estate business with rentals and Airbnb in a touristy area. When making the reservation at the front desk it was nice to be offered different options and prices. I chose the 136 option cabin #10 with a bed and futon for 3. I assumed the bed was a queen but it’s a full. Its the morning of October 12 and the tree is dropping acorns on the metal roof with loud thuds that can disturb sleep. The door won’t stay closed unless it’s locked. The bedroom didn’t have grounded electric receptacles to plug in a space heater. To me value is what matters and this review would have been 5 stars had the value been better at about 75-90.
The front screen door was busted, the kitchenette was so poorly equipped, no wine glasses in a vacation cottage, no mixing bowls, no pot holders, large chips in the dinner dishes, no cutting knife other than the 2 steak knives, nothing to even suggest the cottage had been cleaned to CDC recommendations, I did see one very nice and hardworking housekeeper but she was not wearing a mask or gloves, if someone bothered to lower the tension shower curtain rod so the bathroom wouldn’t flood , the floors wouldn’t be rotten or the linoleum be peaking up. Mind you this was cottage # 9, the lights outside to illuminate the parking spot and dirt to the front door was not working . The porch floor is so slanted you can’t open the door all the way, and you can’t open the bedroom door all the way as the bed is in the way. WiFi was spotty at best, the tv was fine . Linens and towels were all very clean. It was not a queen bed, and the carpet was a dirty looking dark brown .the toss pillows should be thrown out along with the gross bedspread, there was one nice cotton blanket we used. The grill was rusty, and leaked propane when turned it off so you had to make sure to turn the tank off . Someone should also mention this cottage is on the main road and backs up to the scenic railroad. There is some kind of a drainage pipe that flows out along the cottage which makes it to buggy to use the picnic table outside. So the best spot in the cottage is the crooked screened porch . Oh , but thank GOD they had new small windows, they’re clearly holding this cottage together. Needless to stay we left early 8/9/20.
We stayed in unit 24 the first weekend in October. The house was clean and plenty of space for my husband and I. The couple that owns the property is very nice and helpful. It is an older home but appears to be well taken care of. We were in walking distance of the beach and arcade. There was not much open during the week in Weirs Beach but Friday and Saturday it came alive. We had a wonderful time and would book again.
We checked in after office hours. We rang a bell and someone showed up and checked us in pretty quickly. It was all seamless. The rooms are very neat but basic. Its pretty close to pier where there are a few food options
Outstanding, slept so good here in one of the cottages. Great friendly staff even was able to change my reservation at last minute. The bathroom and room was clean and very comfortable. And it’s so very close to everything that Weirs Beach has to offer. Highly recommend great prices and great location. Definitely coming back. Thank you
Stayed here in September of 2012, went to the NASCAR race that year. We also went to Mt. Washington, many fond memories of our trip. The cottage was quaint, spacious, and clean, the staff was welcoming as well. The location is close enough to walk to local entertainment and restaurants. There was shopping, too, I would definitely stay here again.
