My other favorite dog place was 'temporarily closed' during the pandemic, and so I went looking for another place. So glad I found Chicago Deli! Had a delicious Coney Dog (great chili!) and Slaw Dog, both on a delicious soft poppy-seed bun. Neither was overpowered with mustard or onions, a common problem I've encountered elsewhere. Also had potato salad. Overall, exactly what I expected. They were very busy and said someone had called out. Glad I ordered ahead. When my order was ready, they took me at the register. I'll definitely go again.

Very friendly staff. Everyone wore masks. Menu looked pretty good, but my spouse and I both had coney dogs. They were good and just what I was looking to eat.
I'm obsessed with your broccoli and cheese soup. So good! Friendly and courteous staff. Very clean and reasonably priced. Don't change a thing!!! Well, maybe a jumbo bowl of broccoli cheese soup would be a nice option to your small or large sizes
Nice little place good service. First time there did a little sampling got a chili dog Chicago dog and a Coney dog and I have to say the Coney dog was fantastic the other two nuts in my liking I don't think they were prepared incorrectly I just don't think I like them going to go back for the Italian beef to see how that is.
Ordered a Greek salad and a Chicago dog for pickup. Very pleased with both. Greek dtessing is delicious and I will definitely order potato salad next time I go. Also, the club crackers were so fresh!!
