Loudoun Habitat for Humanity Reviews | Rating 3.6 out of 5 stars (5 reviews)

Loudoun Habitat for Humanity is located in Leesburg, United States on 700 Fieldstone Dr NE #128. Loudoun Habitat for Humanity is rated 3.6 out of 5 in the category charity in United States. Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit, ecumenical, Christian ministry whose purpose is to build homes and improve communities in partnership with low and very low income families in Loudoun County. Loudoun Habitat for Humanity is not a give-away program. Through the use of donations, in-kind gifts and volunteer labor, Habitat builds simple decent homes and sells the homes at cost with a no-profit mortgage to deserving families. Habitat houses are built in collaboration with partner families who contribute 250-350 hours of their own labor known as "sweat equity". By contributing sweat equity hours, homeowners are vested in their home and neighborhood as they enjoy the tangible results of teamwork. Habitat for Humanity offers a long-term solution, not a quick-fix, to the problem of poverty housing. The organization makes home ownership possible for people who would not otherwise qualify for a conventional mortgage or afford safe, decent shelter.

Great place to find bargains. Very friendly staff. Has things like second hand furniture, building supplies, books, even paint. Sometimes real good bargains for new things can be found.

I went to the organization for my middle school English project and I noticed that saw the people there help you with everything you need to know and provided me with all the information I needed to know. On of the workers that I saw and interviewed she took us to one of the houses they were building it was really nice. Loudoun County Habitat for Humanity provided just enough for those people in need. Like I said before they have really good service and I like them a lot. I am glad that they are helping those in need. I hope that some people will do the something as the nice people at Loudoun County habitat for humanity dose

This is the best place ever for the DIY builder and home remodel decorating groups. They have building materials that are donated by contractors that have extra or have pulled perfectly good cabinets, doors and lighting fixtures from renovation sites. RESTORE sells it very inexpensively and then uses the money to fund habitat for humanity activities. I have bought everything there from couches (almost new) to antiques, to wood, chainsaw, molding, paint and more. You never know what they have. They also have a truck that does pick up so call them if you have donations. it is tax deductible. Don't plan for something specific. Just go back over and over again till something appears that is perfect for your home.
