Great service so far. Installer with super helpful seem like a really nice guy. Internet speeds seem to be as advertised. So much better than my previous service.

They've stealthily added data caps to our internet service after having unlimited data for years. Data caps are unethical business practice for internet service providers as it has been proven time and time again as it is not effective at easing network congestion. There was also nothing that would imply there was network congestion that required any kind of action on the part of NewWave as it functioned normally during peak usage hours before the data caps were implemented. ISPs that implement data caps usually also offer some kind of TV service (as does NewWave), and the data caps are intended to underhandedly undercut internet Video-on-Demand services such as Netflix in favor of their own TV service. Don't let them fool you, it has nothing to do with network congestion and everything to do with punishing you for not using their TV service. Avoid any internet company that partakes in these shady and unethical business practices to squeeze every last penny out of their customers.
Update: got the installation of the new internet and this installer was very nice but a new issue has come up and that is we paid for the 90 dollar package but our internet is still incredibly slow and we are experiencing a lot of disconnects to the network so again I will keep it at one star Had set up an appointment with to come and install internet and the they never showed up. So called to see the issue then we are told that the driver showed up around 2 afternoon, said doorbell wires were exposed, no one was home, and he knocked on the door. But wait were home all day never saw a truck/van are doorbells are working and covered. So this ahole of a installer is a lier and also if the installer reads I hope you get fired for incompetents because clearly you don't know how to do your job.
I had a remote that stopped working so after being told that the Litchfield office would be open today, I made the trip only to find out that it was closed! My son and I sat in the parking lot for awhile trying to call the company again. A guy walked around from behind the building and came over to our vehicle. He told us that he worked there and took our remote with him to find a replacement. After a few minutes, he came back with a brand new remote!!! So I want to give a huge shout out to this wonderful man, Brian Davis for helping us out! We would have had to wait for one to be sent to us had he not came out to see what we needed! Thanks so much Brian!
I did the math and downloading 171 GB would take me 14 minutes and 15 seconds at 200 mb/s which is what I’m paying for. So why does it take 5 hours and 30 minutes?
