They have the rudest nurse or attendant [Emily on first floor] I have met at a facility while I was trying to locate a patient to deliver them medical supplies. She was on the phone and got very aggressive toned with me when I was just asking if a patient was at the facility. I would love to never have to deal with her or her poor customer service skills again. I definitely wouldn't want my love one to live somewhere when the person who is supposed to care for them is making you feel like you're inconveniencing them by having them do their job.

I was at this facility for four days. The longest four days of my life. I was transferred to this facility from a hospital after my total knee replacement. After the ambulance attendants got me in my room and in bed, they left. I could not find a call button to call and ask for help getting to the restroom. After an hour, a lady identifying herself as the director of admissions came breezing in to my room with a sandwich and told me she was on her way out the door and would talk to me the next day. I stopped her and asked her where the call button was. She found it and told me good night. Some time later two nurses came into my room and told me they needed to do a skin check. I felt ambushed by their actions. I am 60 years old but I have a full-time job, drive a vehicle, pay my bills, and am responsible for all my decisions. These two women treated me like I was a feeble-minded elderly individual incapable of making a decision. One even acted like she did not believe me when I said I was totally independent. I was ready to call someone to come and \bust me out of this place\ that night. But I didn't. The next day was somewhat better, but I was continually treated as if I was not able to make my own decisions. The exception being the physical and occupational therapists. They were always kind, compassionate, and respectful. The meals were horrid. If you have to put someone in this facility, please make sure you check regularly. Oh and my insurance paid the bill they sent and I got a bill for 540. I will be calling them next week about this.
Such a homey feel. Upon entrance greeted by Ms. Ella the receptionist who makes you feel right at home. The smell of cookies baking and fresh lemonade or fruit enhanced water depending on the day and the time you visit. The entire team there makes you feel welcome. The management team is very attentive and available for questions. Great therapy team and nursing care.
My sister was there three days. She received no physical therapy as promised and left in an ambulance. (I walked in on the third day and found her semi-conscious.) Be careful where you place your loved ones. Good food and nice rooms do not make up for the lack of staffing there, especially at night.
