I’ve purchased sod from every local nursery, and this is the ONLY place that’s never failed me. They get new shipments constantly, and it’s never dead. Also the people are genuinely nice and the service is “A-1”. If there’s another sod nursery 5-15 miles closer to you, don’t be lazy, drive the extra few minutes. You’ll be glad you did.
This is the first time I have ordered sod by the pallet to my house and the sod was delivered on time and in great condition. Everyone at A1A Sod was friendly/professional and I would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future
Great Sod ; Had One Pallet of Floratam delivered on Sat.Morning. Driver /Delivery person was a happy, smiling, courteous man. Sod was great.-good color, No bugs,No spiders, lots of base/dirt and a fair price!. John and his staff are always helpful. i will return for more sod but make note-they do not deliver 1/2 pallets and ORDER it early in the week, as it goes fast.
Searched around for Palmetto grass. Chose A1A due to availability and the time from cut in field to down in yard which was shortest. Palmetto not grown locally and A1A had daily delivery from farm. Easy pickup, they even helped hand load a pallet. Grass was perfect, we actually had zero waste! That's unheard of! No center rot or drying! In now for 1-1/2 wk and growing like crazy! No weed or bug problems. Most installation problems are due to preparation, watering, and proper treatment. Thanks A1A.
