I would love to hear from other people who've recently worked with Forest Lawn. What were your COVID guidelines? I've just been informed that only 10 people can see my Grandmothers casket for 15 minutes. This seems completely heinous to me, but is everyone going through the same thing? This woman had almost that many children and helped raise every grandchild, not to mention her surviving sibling as well. Are they really so flooded with funerals that that's all they can \safely\ provide to a family that needs closure? I don't want to hate on this facility, but I need to know for a fact that this is the standard for everyone right now.

I am not fan of any type of funeral. But this was a very close family member, that I got close too. It was a party person and the family organized mariachi band with kids for the funeral. Unforgettable experience and a good service by Forest lawn staff. Even though it's a very sad and personal moment. It kept good memories to keep in my heart.

We had an absolutely horrific experience at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills - they lacked communication during the planning process, and they forgot to embalm our family member's body. They didn't realize until 1 week prior to the funeral, when 1.5 months had already passed. On top of that, the day of the funeral there was an employee who was incredibly rude, I believe his name was John Harrison. While tensions and emotions were high, he was incredibly rude to some of our family members, and escalated a situation by taunting another family member with smug remarks. Then yelled that he was calling security and the police . Mind you, this is the middle of multiple family members already crying and trying to say their goodbyes. Just thinking about how he treated our family during the funeral, during an extremely vulnerable and horrific time for us makes me angry that we gave them business. Come to find out later, he was a supervisor. They take advantage of your grief and your vulnerability so be prepared.

The peace and tranquility Forest Lawn Hollywood provides for a grieving heart helps the mourner to heal by the nature of God's beauty. You can see deers and bunny rabbits feast on flowers and rest beside a burial tablet embedded in the lawn. With a chair or blanket, a small lunch, birthday cake and the warm sun, you can spend time with your loved one viewing the picturesque mountains and city views. A beautiful place for joy-filled tears as you remember them.

One of the most beautiful places i have seen before. There is such a breathtaking beauty in the art and in the buildings. I highly recommend stoping by to look at it if your in the area.
