My wife and I came from Kimberly looking for white melamine shelving components as it seemed no one in the Appleton area carried the items we were looking for. The Oshkosh Lowe’s website indicated that the shelving components were on their shelf so we took a chance that indeed they would be. We needed some help so we found Mark in the next aisle, he brought a lumber hauler, loaded the items for us and wheeled the hauler to the check out area. He was very friendly and helpful, answered all of our questions. The friendliness continued at the checkout out area and we left the store with a very satisfied feeling. Could not have asked for any better.

If you're shopping for houseplants, Lowe's has been known to carry a nice variety of them at reasonable prices. It's not uncommon to find a few rare ones there from time to time & they're surprisingly cheap. They had the rare 'Raven' ZZ Plant for a ridiculously low price that I would have paid were it not for the plant's poor condition. I don't expect the average retail chain employee to know the individual care requirements for all of their houseplants & Lowe's certainly isn't unique for having this problem, but many of their plants are under-watered & dead, or over-watered & will show the telltale signs of rot only after a customer brings home the doomed plant. ZZ Plants can thrive off the inadequate lighting & neglectful watering expected from these chains, but the ones here felt waterlogged & half of their foliage was dead or missing. That said, the price was still decent if you know how to salvage the plant. At least half of the Airplants there were very much dead too. Though I didn't spend much time interacting with them, employees were available everywhere around the store & were readily assisting customers. As far as service goes, Lowe's is excellent!

Long story short, I am not able to write a review for the Lowe’s website itself, since I did not get a receipt for my visit but I figured this might be just as good. Rich and Steve are two of the most helpful people I’ve ever encountered! Firstly, Rich was willing to help even off the clock, and was so nice! Steve was just as helpful with cutting my plexiglass and was even able to use a scrap piece which resulted in me getting it for free. My bookshelf thanks both of them, as do I! You guys rock!
