I prefer Lowe’s over Home Depot for a few reasons. This location is full of helpful and happy employees. For someone who is constantly taking on a DIY project thats definitely a plus! They also have healthy and affordable plants if you’re a plant parent!

My husband bought a safe from this location and when we opened it we could tell it had been used since the manual had handwritten notes on it and the default unlock code had already been changed. It also wasn't even the correct model inside the box. When we went to return it they initially refused to take it back and said we must have gotten it from another store because they would never have let that happen... the receipt clearly shows this is the right location. They tried blaming us for it being a different model even though we told them exactly why we were returning it. After 45 minutes they finally gave us our money back (except the protection plan we had purchased - they made us take a store credit for that). Needless to say, we will not be back and after we spend our gift the site credit we won't be going to Lowe's again.

Had a great experience today at Lowe's. Went in looking for a refrigerator, saw one online yesterday that my wife and I really liked and it was on sale. So today when we went, the fridge was not on sale, the sale ended yesterday. Talked to the sales associate and asked if it was still available for the sale price. He said no, but let me talk to the manager. He came back and let us have it for the sale price. If you go to this Lowe's and need an appliance talk to Dominic, super nice guy.

The gentleman in appliances got us exactly what we wanted and we we’re loaded and out of there in 30 minutes. Great customer service! I went to 2 locations before this one to purchase matching fridge and range because they claimed to have what i wanted in stock. The 15 mile and Gratiot location had terrible service the woman working was no help at all and was acting as if she didn’t want to help us. I wonder if she works on commission, glad i didn’t have to give her my business.

I purchased 3 new kitchen appliances a few weeks back and am STILL having issues with the new dishwasher leaking. Each time I call I get a less then friendly employee who sounds like I'm disrupting their day with my frustration. Literally last night the guy who answered responded \well there's nothing I can do about that with 30 mins left in my shift\, and this morning it was \I literally just walked in so I'm going to put you on hold\..!!! Eventually they get the install folks back out but they leave and the machine is still leaking when I run it later. Both Lowes and the installers seem to have to care for the product install/customer satisfaction other than getting paid. I'm at the point where I just want to return this still leaking dishwasher and go somewhere else!!
