My husband and I first attended an open wood protect in the beginning of December for a date night and left with the most amazing customized Christmas gifts for family members—we loved it so much, we gifted a class to his team at work and created even more gifts for friends (and this time for ourselves, too!) I have gotten so many compliments on the items that we have given, this will definitely be our go-to for gifts (whether it be for weddings, birthdays, new homes.... I’m addicted!) If you are looking for something to do with all ages, backgrounds, interests, or styles, check out AR Workshop! You will NOT be disappointed! I can’t begin to tell you how much I love this place!! We started coming here right when they opened and I’ve already been back 5 more times! I first made some of their standard designs which I loved, but I have been wanting a custom piece with my favorite poem on it. I sent my ideas to Jess and she created me the perfect piece. It turned out to be a 4 layer stencil with everything I wanted! And believe me, I am less than an artist. Drop by and say hi or check out their webpage. You will not be disappointed !!

I cannot recommend this place more, it is so amazing! They offer an almost overwhelming wide variety of DIY crafts from cake decorating, candle making, and charcuterie boards, to making wooden signs, dog beds, chunky knit blankets (a personal favorite) and so many more! The staff is so incredibly nice, personable, and patient. They remember everyone who has come in. The classes are easy to follow, fun, creative, and come with a "DIY Take Home" option. They've only been open a couple of months and I've already been three times , and plan on going even more. Along with their regular classes, they also host birthday parties and other groups. They even have a gift shop area to check out as well, many items are from other local businesses!

I can’t say enough great things about this establishment. I attended a workshop and was very impressed with the entire set up. I got to choose from hundreds of different options for my project and not only came home with a personalized framed board that I learned how to make, I also learned how to make soy candles from a local candle maker! The workshop was extremely well organized and the atmosphere is inviting. The owner was consciences of safety and took the time to greet and get to know each guest at the workshop. There is also a boutique with different items to shop from which includes great items for birthdays, special occasions and holidays!
