I took my engine there to be repaired it sat there 7 months I could not pick it up until I paid the remaining balance. There was no work done to my engine I was told every other week it was done. The person that left the positive review “Mary Abrams” is Anthonie Carr wife. She is the one I had to pay to pick up my engine. Tony Lindsey stood in front of the gate until I paid. This place is a rip off a dump and if anyone wants to join me in a lawsuit drop me an email. No clue the lady that signed my receipt Mary Abrams said she was... And Sherri resides in the broke down motor home in front of the building... stealing from people is bad business and this is a bad business.

I have worked woth A1 for several years and have always been very pleased with their service and prices. The quality of work is excellent. I price check when I need a motor rebuilt and they are always the lowest. Would highly recommend!

Stay clear. . .I dropped a short block off with this guy about 6 months ago. I called the guy several times over the last 6 months, and was handed multiple excuses as to why my engine was not ready. I showed up to talk to the guy in person, and was told that he had only been able to finish the crankshaft. He was nowhere to be seen, and another person at the shop had to clean up after him. I Got my block back that day, but no rods. He was given a 500 deposit, but I have no expectation of getting any cash, or the connecting rods back from this guy.

This guy literally stole my money. Gave him the block and 1200 to start the job. 1 month, he still had not even started. He gave me the block back but said he didn't have the cash. At least he wrote me an IOU. 3 months and still no refund. THIEF! Oh...and a registered sex offender too!
