She was able to fix and make (basically from scratch) an entire set of drapes for me within 72 hours! The fabric I purchased to make the drapes was a very difficult to work with material that I couldn't handle on my own. Price was reasonable, project was done much faster than I would have expected, I will definitely come to her again for alterations or sewing projects!

I have been to Mary several times since moving to the area 16 years ago. She does amazing work for a reasonable price. Everything fits perfectly after Mary's magic.
Talented, friendly proprietress. I took in an old jacket that had a lot of sentimental value for my husband .... until he decided to wear it while grilling and melted the front of it. Mary did a great job finding a fabric that matched well, but she took the extra step of making the same repair to both sides of the jacket, so that it looked balanced and 'right' (same seams on both sides). I was very pleased with the work, and felt that the price was fair.
Mary did a great job with my bride's maid dress. Fits perfectly now! I highly recommend coming here if you need alterations, or anything sewing!
She was not friendly at all and seemed frustrated that I asked for an estimate. Her estimate was 2 times higher than the alteration shop near Flora and Page so I went there instead. She wanted to charge me 130.00 to alter two dress jackets. The other place only charged me 56.00.
I have taken several pairs of jeans in for zipper and button replacements, and Mary has always done an amazing job! Her pricing is so incredibly affordable...well, I don't think anyone can beat it! Would definitely recommend her to anyone that needs something sewed, fixed or altered!
Hello all! I had an idea for a wedding dress that I knew I wanted. I took my dress that looked like it to her, and she made it. I had to pick out the fabric, which is a bonus too, and all materials. I tried it on Friday, December 4, 2009. Looks just like what I wanted, and she added things to make it better. Mary is great-- Thanks.
