Loved Sharon's "serenity" getaway in Matlacha. She is an excellent and responsive host. Clean, spacious, & fabulous location on the water. Cottage #6 was perfect for our family of 4. Kitchen had everything we needed. The attached deck was heavenly. Kayaks and fire pit were a bonus. Do bring groceries, but restaurants are an easy walk. We were thrilled to be able to stay 2 nights, wished would could have stayed longer! Will definitely be back.

GREAT views in your backyard, The absolute cleanest rooms i have ever stayed at by far.Look forward to staying here again. Sharon is the best, one phone call away from anything you may need to make your stay comfortable . The only place too stay while enjoying Matlacha and Pine island
Stayed in studio, very affordable, limited parking (it's a narrow island) very clean, great location, lots of personal touches it was a little warn in spots but we'll loved. Would stay again!!!
It was great until she booked 5 people behind us in another adjoining cottage that were up all night and smoking. The owner never returned my calls.
Beautiful, cozy place. Sharon is awesome. You can tell she loves being hospitable. The place had everything in case u forget anything... including a French press to make my Cuban coffee because I forgot the heating base to my Expresso maker. She is a very genuine person! Likewise, for Jackie who helped us with tips to enjoy Matlacha. Such a great area with really true, genuine people!
Was hoping for a relaxing weekend but our room had only a twin bed the air conditioner kept turning off thank goodness the neighbors had the only remote the tv didn't work and neither did the hot water heater then when we were out the manager came by to settle payment and thought we were in the room and not answering the door she threatened to remove our belongings because our credit card was entered incorrectly and had been declined then when we offered to go to the store and get the money she acted like we were trying to skip out on the bill. I have never been so disappointed by any motel as much as this one i was told that the manager thought it was only for one person but I was never asked how many people would be checking in. I thought we were going to have a fun relaxing weekend but the only thing that saved it was the friends we were there visiting. I will not be staying here ever again.
Just bring your food a great place to relax and unwind or walk to the Yucatán clean efficiency and the kayaking was awesome we didn’t even have to rent them
