Generally, I really like McAlisters, but my visits to this location have been abysmal. The first time, the issue was there wasn’t a single clean table in the restaurant. Not one! I counted them for this review, 17 unoccupied dirty tables and the rest were occupied, probably by people who sat down at a dirty table. When I complained to the manager, she said they were too busy to clean tables. They weren’t. There wasn’t a line and they had multiple employees at the counter standing around. This was a really disappointing experience. Maintaining a clean restaurant is essential and this crew (including the manager who I spoke to directly about the issue) just didn’t care and it was painfully obvious. The second time, the dining room was again filled with dirty tables and employees were standing around. Then my baked potato was served raw. I mean raw. When I took it to the counter they acknowledged it wasn’t prepared properly. You don’t say! When I returned to my table, a guy sitting near me was busy complaining that his food had been improperly prepared as well. Unfortunately, this restaurant is a total disaster and I can’t imagine a scenario in which you have a positive experience.

The manager was rude. If they did not want to let me place my order he should have nicely gotten on the phone and relayed the message to me. Instead I hear the manager in the background saying “WE CLOSE AT 9!”. I do not appreciate this kind of service.
Good food. I like fast, casual restaurants and McAlister's does it well. I especially like their "choose two" option.
On 10/7/20, I used the McAlister app to order my dinner. I'm a nurse traveler and have usually had really good service & food at the restaurants across the South. Not that night. I was missing my tomato cucumber salad and they replaced a lemonade with tea because they "ran out". If you read the reviews this tends to be a problem there. I called and spoke the manager Judy, who was amazing and stated that she would replace the whole meal. AWESOME!! That is, however, until I went back the next day for the replacement meal. It was a different manager (Wendy). She called Judy to verify our conversation (which made me feel like a bum). I picked up our food, got back to the hotel, AND IT WAS AGAIN MISSING ITEMS!!! Like, if you're going through the trouble to give away free food because you messed up the first time, you'd think they double check it. When I called Wendy. I told her, I am not trying to be hard to get along with, but it's missing food again. All she said was "Ok". I told her I would not be using that establishment again. She apologized by saying "I'm sorry", then hung up. Wow. I work hard for my money, and when I pay for an item, I expect it. That's all. Don't go there, use the one in Apex.
They have great sandwiches but the baked potatoes are what really makes the meal. Spud
McAlister’s has decent food for what it is. Our experience today was comical. Food came out in spurts, with multiple mistakes, and the final two kids’ meals being correctly brought to the table 30 minutes after ordering. There is a very sad DoorDash driver who has been waiting 15-20 minutes as well. No idea how they could be this incompetent. So many mistakes.
Horrible rude service, over priced. Literally got a pick two sandwhich and it was basically white toast with a sprinkle of ingredients. The order was completely wrong and unsatisfying for what I paid. Never again will I come here. I paid 13 bucks for food and felt like I just ate a single chick-fil-a sandwhich. I got two pieces of bread when there was supposed to be more ingredients and 3 pieces for the one sandwhich. The other sandwhich didn't have the right bread. Be careful with online orders and trusting them. Check before. Also why give me a huge container for a half sliced sandwhich. Such a waste. This is by far the worst McAllisters I've been to and it's a disgrace. Id rather drive 10 miles to a different one than go here again. This is the 4th time I've been disappointed.
After reading these reviews I am astonished by what people would write on here to get free food. More free food shall I add. I did want to target one person in general. User @Bobbie Jo Roseboro. who is a couple of reviews down. I used to be a worker at this restaurant and the only reason I remember you was because you took advantage of the free food. ONE item was messed up that did not mean order dinner for your whole family. I remember the manager on duty(Wendy) verified when taking your order if that was the only thing that was done incorrectly and you said no you kept adding on. That is what taking advantage of looks like folks. A reuben cost maybe 8-9. you ordered a full baked potato(spud max) which is around 10, a reuben 9, a king club 10, a Caesar salad5 snd she didn't say anything but gave you all of it. That is called being ungrateful. She should have made you pay for the rest of the food since only ONE sandwich was wrong. And of course she has to verify with the manager who was on duty the day before. NOT ONLY THAT FOLKS. IM NOT FINISHED. We looked over the cameras after she called, and Judy can verify, That there was a Caesar salad in the bag . I will say that they did forget the cucumber tomato SIDE that cost 0.99 but I think all of the food she ordered without paying for it makes up for it. The customer is very rarely right and anyone who has worked at a food restaurant will back me up. Moral of the story no matter how much you do for someone it will never be enough
