Dr. Alarcio saved my son. I am a former Childrens hospital employee (14 years) who worked on the neuro floor. I was extremely disappointed in the lack of compassion & interest in my sons health by other doctors/neurologists at Children's Hospital. He had an onset of involuntary movements that were aggressive & debilitating. Dr. Alarcio was our 2nd opinion & she knew right away what was going on. She knew he was also suffering. She acted quickly with testing & treatment. I am forever grateful for her dedication & compassion for her patients. Thank you Dr. Alarcio for saving my son! Many times its a long wait to see her, thats because she is very thorough. Please be patient she's saving life's.

Dr. Alarcio is the most caring Dr. I have ever worked with. She was the first one I ever felt cared about my son's actual healing and life long outlook more than the minutes on the clock or the codes that billed out. She takes all the time a patient needs to discuss the whole issue, she looks through ALL the medical records, is incredibly thorough ordering more tests and has never rushed us out the door. For that I don't mind waiting extra time in the lobby. She is constantly learning and adding new treatment options, and she never treats the patient like they are crazy. I love that she involves my son where it's appropriate and encourages him to help in the process. Reaching out for feedback between appointments is difficult, I always recommend scheduling your follow up before you leave the office.

Grateful, because we had struggled for years to understand why our son, who has special needs, had a distinct unwanted behavior change. Dr. Alarcio ordered the needed tests (tests that other doctors were apparently unaware of or unwilling to order) and revealed that the unwanted behavior was actually caused by a treatable, medical (not psychiatric) illness. She treated this illness and my son is doing so much better!

I’ve been in here multiple times and they have no respect for patients time, every time they’ve either tried to cancel 15 minutes before or showed up unacceptably late. Don’t come here if you value your time or want an efficient visit
