The current UK advice to British Citizens living and working in the US who need to return is non-existent . This is completely unacceptable the British Government need to get a grip and start providing some concrete advice to their Citizens who are in vulnerable positions overseas. The consulate should be providing is with a sense of security, not admitting that they don't know what is happening and that no plans are in place. Extremely disappointing and worrying - get a grip quickly please!

Contact via website?? Really. We want to know what we need to do to get home from the USA. We are quite happy to stay here as we feel it might be safer. We are trying to get hold of our travel insurance company but guess what? We can’t get through

We came here and we were met by one of the most loveliest lady we could have asked to deal with. Sandy helped us get emergency passport after they were stolen. She was an absolute dream boat. She was so empathetic and understanding. The way she was eliminated all the stress we felt before arriving. Thank you so so much! There is parking underneath the building. You pay on exit. You arrive and go to the lobby, check in and the security guard will then allow you to go up the 28th floor.
